irritation / 不定詞の進行形

irritation
名詞で意味は
１、怒らせる（いらだたせる）こと、いらだち、立腹
２、[医]刺激、興奮、過敏症、炎症

irritationを使った英文
He appeared to have been waiting for me for a long time, but he didn't show any irritation or anger.
(彼は長い間私を待っていてくれたようだが、いらだちも怒りも見せなかった。）
irritation・・・いらだち
anger・・・怒り

不定詞の進行形を勉強します。
to be doingで「～していること」という意味になります。完了形と組み合わせたto have been doingも使われます。

He seems to be studying now.
He is studyingのように見える
（彼は今勉強している最中のようだ。）
He seems to have been waiting for a long time.
He has been waitingのように見える
（彼は長い間待っているようだ。）

他の例
He is said to be training for the match.
(彼はその試合のためにトレーニングをしていると言われている。）

He pretended to have been working for the company for 10 years.
（彼は１０年間その会社で働いてきたふりをした）
