条件を表す接続詞

If you study hard, you will pass the exam.
もしがんばって勉強したら、あなたはその試験に通るだろう。
Unless you study hard, you won't pass the exam.
もしがんばって勉強しなければ、その試験に受からないだろう。
As long as you study hard, you will pass the exam.
あなたはがんばって勉強する限り、その試験に受かるだろう。

条件を表す主な接続詞は次の通りです。
if S+V　もしＳがＶするなら
If it is sunny tomorrow, I'll do the laundry.
もし明日晴れたら、私は洗濯します。

unless S+V　もしＳがＶしないなら
I won't go to the party unless you go.
あなたが行かないなら私もそのパーティーに行かない。

as long as S+V　ＳがＶするなら、する限り、する場合のみ
As long as you return it tomorrow, you can use my car.
あなたが明日返してくれるなら、私の車を使ってよい。

これらの条件を表す接続詞とともに使われるＳ＋Ｖには未来形は使われません。
If it is sunny tomorrow, I will do the laundry.
is・・・明日のことだがifのパートなので現在形
will・・・明日のことだからもちろん未来形

Other examples

Unless it rains tomorrow, I'll wash my car.
もし明日雨が降らなければ、私は車を洗います。
As long as you stay in bed all day today, you'll get better.
今日一日ずっとベッドにいれば、あなたはよくなるでしょう。

As long as you take the medicine after meals, you'll recover from the flu soon.
食後にこの薬を飲む限り、あなたはインフルエンザからすぐに回復するだろう。
recover・・・回復する
flu・・・インフルエンザ

Unless the snow has melted away by tomorrow, the conference will be postponed.
もし明日までに雪が溶けてなくなってしまっていなければ、会議は延期されるだろう。
melt away・・・溶けてなくなる
conference・・・会議
postpone・・・延期する
