contagiousだけ知らない単語でした。娘（長女）に聞くと、contagiousは病気がうつる意外にも、「あくび」とか「笑い」がうつるときにも使うそうです。
howeverはdifferent fromとかいてあったのですが、いまいち意味が一致しなくないですか？私にはちょっと理解不能でした。
