分詞構文
「～しながら」「～して」
She came into the room carrying the dishes.
(彼女は皿を運びながらその部屋に入ってきた。）
She came into the room accompanied by her teacher.
（彼女は先生に付き添われてその部屋に入ってきた）
Looking out of the window, I saw him standing at the door.
（窓の外を見て私は彼がドアのそばに立っているのが見えた。）

同時に起こる動作「～しながら」、andと同じ「～して・・・」という意味を持ちます。
She came into the room carrying the dishes.
                       →while she was carrying

She came into the room accompanied by her teacher.
                         →and she was accompanied

Looking out of the window, I saw him standing at the door.
→I looked out of the window and


I don't like to study English, listening to music.
（私は音楽を聞きながら英語の勉強をするのは好きじゃない。）

He went out leaving a message for me.
(彼は私にメッセージを残して外出した）
